The only redeeming qualities about this movie were the sound track and the A list actors. Love Bill Murray and was happy to see some other actors that I enjoy. The movie would not have made the grade if not for these actors. Oh well, it was a fun way to spend a little downtime in the hotel. I wonder what the Afghans think about this movie.
Was totally expecting to hear Rock the Kasbah; was sorely disappointed. Had to fire it up on our own after the movie.

Seems like that was an eventual title change to sell the movie to audiences. Something familiar other than here's another Bill Murray movie. I'll have to check it out. By the way have you seen St. Vincent (2014). Bill Murray is his usual grumpy guy who is gets less grumpy. He sing a Bob Dylan song at the end.

I loved St Vincent! I love quirky movies. It reminded me of Dear Ndugo (at least I think that’s the name of it, that’s how we refer to it) with Jack Nicholson
I wonder what the original name was - I probably still would have watched it if I saw Bill Murray on the cover shot.
I had no idea the other A list actors would be in this movie so that was a bonus.

I know it as About Schmidt (2002). Nudugo is the African child Nicholson writes letters too. Haven't seen it in a long time but remember I liked it.

Of course, if I had thought about it for a bit I would remember the name. Great show.
