Discuss Day of the Woman

Item: Day of the Woman

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: Just wondering why this film isn't using the I Spit on Your Grave title. As far as I know, although the original production title was Day of the Woman, it wasn't actually released with the title. It's a similar issue to 1981's Madhouse, original production title There Was a Little Girl but released under the Madhouse title.

The original title was edited in 2012 by a now-suspended user... Can you help me find proof that it was originally released in the US as I Spit on Your Grave (ideally November 1978 ads/newspapers articles)?

The original title was "Day of the Woman" for its release in November 1978. "I Spit on Your Grave" was the new title for its re-release in July 1980.
