Well I wasn't a kid when I saw it. I purposely ignored the film for a long time... anyway, interesting film. Good editing in that one.

Yes, I also saw it as a kid, and indeed the shadow ghost was crazy scary.

Still to this day, I think they are very effective and frightning, with the cracking sound and the moaning before they grab you and pull you to hell :-)

Poor Carl. I felt for him. I guess he deserved it. But wow what an introduction to hell
