Jimmy Price is a reckless man-child on the last leg of his career as a doubles tennis player. When his latest partner drops him, he realizes he's officially burned all of his bridges on the pro circuit. He decides to make one last ditch effort to revive his career, reaching outside of the tennis world and convincing his childhood partner -- his estranged brother Darren, now an apathetic substitute teacher - to team up with him. The mismatched pair, with the help of a unique 11-year-old named Barry, make an unlikely run at a grand slam tournament and are forced to re-discover their game, and their brotherhood.

Es una película de comedia en la cual se ven involucrados dos hermanos que pese a unas dificultades en el pasado se encuentran distanciados pero esto no les impedirá reunirse y dejar todo lo sucedido atrás y enfocarse en uno de los mas importantes torneos de tenis como lo es el Grand Slam.

Jimmy Price es un hombre-niño imprudente en el último tramo de su carrera como jugador de tenis de dobles. Cuando su último compañero lo deja caer, se da cuenta de que oficialmente ha quemado todos sus puentes en el circuito profesional. Decide hacer un último esfuerzo para revivir su carrera, llegar al mundo del tenis y convencer a su compañero de la infancia, su hermano Darren, ahora un profesor sustituto apático, para que se unan a él.
