An incredible thing happened. These statues and other Egyptian-style props made just for this film were buried after the films completion. They were dug up over 90 years later--they have become genuine artifacts!
(They were strange in design. I am an expert on Egyptology and I have never seen genuine ancient Egyptian artifacts from any period quite like them. The false pagan god Sokar (see my postings) is depicted very weirdly with the head of a bug when really in ancient Egypt he was shown with the head of a bird.)
