I liked this for what it was. I see it got panned by critics but it was atmospheric and had a neat idea. Plus good acting.
But as with a lot of recent horrors, "evil" seems to win in the end. Also they did overdo the jump scares. But hey, nothing wrong with them and experienced horror fans could easily know when to expect them!
