In the film God claims he has not got a clue as to the future. But in real life God is all prophetic. He predicted Israel's rebirth and other things.

( Some people might in defense of the film claimed the Lord lied about not knowing the future so Jerry would try harder but we do not know for sure that anymore than the way God spelled " interview" was the word's original spelling when He created that word.)
