Discuss The Godfather

......in this. Especially in the red dress in the beginning. People always go on about Apollonia and I've heard people negatively compare how Keaton looked to her, but I thought she was beautiful. I liked the old hair too.

Agreed. I wouldn't have left her.

I didn't like her hair in the hotel scene -- where Kay and Michael had dinner together. It was combed all the way back and kind of bouffant -- not exactly a late 1040's hairdo. She looked like a peeled onion in that scene --- her forehead is way too high to wear her hair back like that. Not flattering. Other than that, she looked great!

I think Diane Keaton has always been pretty in a way that she didn't have to try hard to be pretty. She didn't have to be overly made up. Now I didn't notice any woman in this movie overly made up but I have noticed this in other films Diane has starred in and just in general when I have seen her in pictures. She has aged well.

Yea, and a "movie queen" to boot. She's got roots in essential parts of American cinema: the Godfather films and plenty of early Woody Allen movies, too.
