FUCK. PISS. SHIT. CUNT. i was looking forward to both, but right now i am not sure if kevin is still able to pull them off. just recently i have rewatched clerks II after ages and it seems like his work has started to go downhill earlier than i thought. before i nailed it down to copout, but now i think it all started with clerks II. overall it is a solid movie and it had some of the qualities of kev's earlier work, but there was also much wrong with it. the whole elias character for starters and randall's bullying, which was completely out of character., then the donky show and especially the emotional friendship talk at the end. zach and miri went further into that direction, with all the good parts actually cut out (check the bonus material). except for comic book man and maybe his podcasts (if you like this kind of thing), he hasn't done a film that shows his old strength in a looong time.

so, overall we might be better off this way. let him bring on his promised new jay and silent bob film. there is not much to ruin with yet another 90 minutes of snoogens and poop jokes.

fuck. CLERKS was made with a credit card. he should go that route and just make CLERKS 3 on his own via kickstarter and then screen the movies himself. Then upload to Youtube or sell to Netflix. Movie studios be damned

However, it is confirmed that jay and silent bob get a reboot is happening. The issue with the other films was they couldnt get the copyrights. Jay mewes confirmed they had the rights for the reboot during his stand up show i saw him at. The premise is that the jay and silent bob franchise is set to get a reboot and jay and silent bob are going to hollywood to stop it. Its very meta and its gunna be great haha
