I once read an IMDb review about this film, saying it was such a disappointment. If you're going to watch Autumn expecting to see the amount of zombie action there is in 28 weeks later, disappointment is going to be inevitable. But the film works with a "humans aren't aware of zombies" mentality, so don't think of it as a film within a film. The characters aren't aware of George Romero's 'Night of the Living Dead', or any other zombie feature. I'm assuming they went 'by the book' as much as possible. But people will be people (if they're not complaining that something isn't faithful to the book, they're complaining that there's not enough suspense). Blah.
