One of the best movies I have seen in years!

I love love this film...so beautifully conceived and executed. It is a slow, methodically told story so if you're not the patient type, you probably will not like it. However if you like a well done character study, give it a go and make sure you watch through to the final frame. 
Oh and I believe it is currently being offered via Amazon Prime...

I have to agree with you. Love these character built movies that only the British seem to be able to do. Eddie can play these quiet characters so well. And the way Joanne, who is such a beautiful woman, can make herself so 'ordinary!'
The sadness that I felt at the end brought so many tears!
