I've not seen either, but as you're the only commenter here - does it deserve its rating (both here and on IMDb)? I'm intrigued by the premise, but I'll be damned if I'm watching a film as terribly rated as this without a good reason...!

I Hve only seen the American version...

The story and themes are very interesting and not something covered well in movies these days... Strong themes... Worth a high rating except that the directing of the American version is very poor... You will fight the directing, but i think it's worth checking out if you have time... I watched it on a plane...
