The most entertaining film about a guy who kills his girlfriend that you'll ever see.
This is true, only on account of the fact that a PCP-crazed Vierlander didn't Louisville Slugger Kate Upton into an unrecognizable molehill of gore, while they were still dating. Now that they're married, dude can cram both Upton and their toddler into a wood chipper while they're still alive. His f-cking up the order in which he did all of this still leaves River's Edge the champion. even if someone were to make a movie about such an event
Wha-aat? No turning the thread into an extended diatribe about the overratedness of Malcolm X, may he rest in peace?
SF isn’t. I’m just fascinated by how you can squeeze another Malcolm diss into every possible topic here, though.
It was not I who first brought up X on this thread, 'Loid... You did. In any event, we're getting off topic. We'd best continue this discussion elsewhere
So I see that mechajutaro/BaronOfHair has apparently been banned again . . .
Guess I'm not surprised, seeing as, although he did have insightful commentary on film when he put his mind to it, he almost inevitably steered the conversation into needless instigation of racial sensitivities or into a hypersexualized gutter.
I feel good for Celluloid Fan, he finally gets a break-- mech/BoH was absolutely obsessed with him.

It's like you read my mind, I've been saying the same thing to mech/BoH and was wondering if I was crazy.
I recognized his style in his new iteration, called him out and encouraged him to tend more towards the insight side and away from the instigation/gutter. He blew me off like I was hassling him.
Some people just can't help themselves. It's kinda sad.
But, oh well.

I thought he was stalking my comments, too. Clearly, and thankfully, the record shows I was not the only one with all these concerns about him.
He's probably reading all of this while he contemplates his next identity/attempt, given his apparently single-minded determination to insinuate himself. Thankfully, he's proven he won't learn/change/grow, so if he turns up yet again, he'll reveal himself and, should his patterns persist, will just get banned again.
And his obsession with tearing down Malcolm X was pretty frightening as well. It felt like nearly every other thread that I had something to do with got turned into being about X for awhile... sometimes I actually felt like mech/Baron was addressing ME as if I was X the way he went on and on with me about him (that one thread he started lasted over a year!).

Saw it back in the day, but don't recall if I liked it or not. But since I don't really remember, it was probably a 'thumbs down'.

Very distressing stuff.
Thanks for your concern, north.

I absolutely love that scene.
