Casino Royale (2006)
When I first saw it I thought it was above average but over the past 2 years or so it grew on me. The music/score is Arnold's BEST James Bond work hands down. It oozes Bond from start to finish. Next is the script... Skyfall had great writing but it doesn't have a sense of humor, so CR wins again. Direction is by Martin Campbell and he did a fantastic job imho. You can argue that Mendes had a better DoP but he can't do action like Campbell does action. (see GE)
So yeah, hands down CR (2006) for me. Anyone else wanna give their thoughts?

Completely agree Casino Royale is by far my favorite Bond film with him in it. I was so hyped for the next one after that..... unfortunately I found Quantum of Solace to be one of the worst Bond films.... choppy fighting scenes didn't care for the story. I liked Skyfall as an homage to the Bond universe but I think it's bit overrated. Spectre however was a major disappointment. Kind of curious where they go from here.

Casino Royale is one of the best Bond films ever. I would say it has the best acting in the franchise. Everyone was in top form here. Martin Campbell also did a fantastic job directing. He needs to direct another Bond film in the future.

I hated Daniel Craig. I thought Layer cake was terrible. It wasn't until skyfall that it finally clicked. I went back a watched casino and quantum and believe it or not quantum is probably my favorite of his. Spectre was ok. I was disappointed with Christoph waltz character.

Definitely Casino Royale. It has such a great relationship between Bond and Vesper at the heart of it and on top of that the best action of the franchise. Specter is my second favorite Craig Bond.

Haven't seen Spectre yet, but yes, Casino Royale.

My favorite is Casino Royale. When I went to see it the first time it made such an impression on me that I went back the next day, and 5 times after that! The cinematography, the script, M (is there anyone besides me who thinks that Villiers was a complete idiot?), Eva Green, and last but not least my favorite line in the movie:
Bond: Vodka Martini Bartender: Shaken or stirred? Bond: Do I look like I give a damn?
Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night.

I also thought that Quantum Of Solace was very good. The only thing I had a problem with was the villian, Dominic Green. He was way too annoying to be a good Bond villian.

Casino Royale
I think QOS turned out pretty well considering all the problems it had in it's production. It may be the worst of the Craig era, but it's still better than any of Brosnan's films (with the possible exception of GoldenEye)....

@JustinJackFlash GoldenEye was the best Brosnan Bond movie by far. I once read that Sir Roger Moore said of Die Another Day that he thought the invisible car chase was the sillest thing that he had ever seen and added, "and I was the Bond who went to a secret space station in a Space Shuttle!" You know you're in trouble when even Sir Roger thinks it was ridiculous!

@Jan El Señor: I got your post mixed up with JustinJackFlash's. Sorry about that! Anyway, I agree with you about GoldenEye.
I feel that Spectre was the worst Daniel Craig Bond. To me it felt like "Daniel Craig's Bond's Greatest Hits". It was very obvious (to me at least) that it was supposed to be DC's Bond swan song.

Casino Royale, I agree.
Skyfall, runner up. Spectre was a little disappointing. and Quantum of Solace was easily the weakest entry. One of the worst Bonds.

Another for Casino Royale, the first and the best of Daniel Craig.
Spectre is easily the worst, closely followed by Skyfall. Both extremely overrated and Sam Mendes cannot direct an action film.

@FlyingSaucersAreReal About Quantum Of Solace, I would beg to differ with you (I've always wanted to use that phrase!), but the worst Bond movie is a tie between Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun.
