Discuss Welcome to the Jungle

If you sat through this movie and didn't question any of the choices any of the characters made, you would think the moral of the story is 'being a nice guy is a liability'. However, if you consider for just one moment: if Chris had accepted Phil's offer to be his second in command, he could have had free reign to grab the radio from the plane behind his back, take it back to Jared, and wait to be rescued- none of what followed would have been necessary. There were plenty of opportunities where Chris, had he fully considered his options, could have averted looking like a chump. And being a nice guy wasn't the reason he didn't see them.

So, the moral of the movie is this: If you are going to be trapped on a desert island, make sure there is at least one person with common sense in your party. Cause everyone in this movie was beyond stupid.

And ruined the movie for me.

Shame. What could have been a 7/10 is now a 4/10.
