Just finished up a two night double feature on Tron (1982) and Tron: Legacy (2010) and got to say the Daft Punk score has really grown on me over the years. Beautiful work guys. Just the right balance of symphonic and electronic. The plot/story has also grown on me but it still feels less epic over the original (hard to top).

Updated visuals make it seem more sci-fi realistic than mystical. The softness and raw geometry of the original made the movie seem more mystical or metaphysical. It seems Legacy went too far visually explaining technology showing interlocking joints/mechanisms in the new 'Red Demons'. Algorithms, math and statements need to be represented more abstractly. The original captured that visual tone better.

Still all around very happy with Disney and all for giving it a go. Good work all.
