Terminator has been tarnished by the bad sequels. Aliens has already been done, I don't see what else there is to tell in that story. Avatar doesn't need sequels. So yes, he should make something new.

Do you think he is suffering from Lucas syndrome and if you say the original has aged badly, do you think CGI is getting better these days and the technology?

Avatar 2 and 3 are almost done filming, so they're definitely coming out. Cameron said recently if 2 and 3 don't make money, there will not be 4 and 5. I was hoping for a prequel, as I would love to see what first contact was like between humans and the Na'vi.

(Ha...only in the movies can you talk about something in the past tense that happens in the 22nd Century.)
