I think prior to the Lookout he wasnt getting the respect i thought he deserved. Happy to see him getting the good big roles finally

He was making a lot of good choices around that time. Brick, (500) Days of Summer, Looper, Inception, 50/50.

His performance in Mysterious Skin is one of the best of the 2000s, simply superb work.
He was very charismatic and genuinely funny in 500 Days of Summer.
