It seems like in this film Nick got them left and right without a reason. Like George who he sees, only to come out of it immediately and he's hit. Cowboy who is crushed seconds after entering the hospital. It seems at least in the others they had a purpose and you could save someone.

Watching all the Final Destination films again and yes, you're right. This one made no sense with the premonitions. There was even one that practically spelt it out to him through a newspaper by highlighting the words.
The worst in the series, especially the acting and how dated it looks now.
