A turbulent era in Argentine politics is highlighted in this well-wrought drama, set in Buenos Aires at the end of 1945, about Clara (Graciela Borges), a young, half-Jewish woman awakening to the reasons behind the political conflicts of her time and place. Clara's father was a Communist who fought the Nazis in Argentina and possessed a list of the top Nazi exiles and their contacts. Through a former lover, Clara -- a successful broadcast journalist -- begins to see her Jewish roots (and the leftists) in a whole new light. Meanwhile, the political storms sweeping through Argentina are setting the stage for the Peronist government to come.

Nel dopoguerra, un'attrice radiofonica, moglie felice di un medico, viene a conoscere le circostanze della morte del padre, un giornalista ebreo ucciso dai peronisti in combutta con i nazisti rifugiati in Sudamerica. La donna cerca di rivelare i fatti all'opinione pubblica, ma i carnefici del padre sono pronti a uccidere ancora.

Clara Somolof, la locutora de radio más famosa de Argentina, casada con un prestigioso cirujano y madre de tres hijos, recibe la noticia de la muerte, en extrañas circunstancias, de su padre, Boris, un ruso de raza judía, periodista muy conocido en los ambientes políticos bonaerenses y del que Clara llevaba muchos años alejada. Boris luchaba, desde los años treinta, contra el nazismo y ahora, terminada la II Guerra Mundial, consumado su asesinato, Clara recibe de una manera misteriosa la relación de los jerarcas nazis que se han infiltrado en Argentina. Allí estaban Eichman, Menguele, Borman... Clara fue asesinada el 16 de octubre de 1945.
