Overview |
After witnessing the murder of her father, the little Mikoa flees the plantation where he works as a slave. Janson, master of the plantation, and his daughter Laura, found lost in the jungle and decide to present to the Father Braulio, a missionary who welcomes him like his son. The young native is raised and educated in the mission, becoming a good man in love with his childhood friend, however, still has much hatred for the person who killed his father, Charles, a cruel white overseer who now at the service of revolutionary blacks. |

Overview |
Tras presenciar el asesinato de su padre, el pequeño Mikoa huye de la plantación en la que trabaja como esclavo. Janson, amo de la plantación, y su hijita Laura, se lo encuentran perdido por la selva y deciden presentarle al Padre Braulio, un misionero que lo acoge como si fuera hijo suyo. El joven nativo es criado y educado en la misión, convirtiéndose en un buen hombre enamorado de su amiga de infancia, sin embargo, aún le queda mucho odio hacía la persona que mató a su padre, Charles, un cruel capataz blanco al que ahora se encuentra al servicio de unos negros revolucionarios. |
