I know there were a few different endings to the movie. I can't remember which one played with the final product but I do remember one which was pretty bleak. He goes back to a time when he was being born in his mothers womb and strangles himself with the umbilical cord. Another where he passes by Kaylee on the street, they make eye contact and he recognizes her but she doesn't recognize him and they keep walking away. Another where they pass by each other but do recognize and he asks her out for coffee (happy ending)
