It must be a strange coincidence that both Waldo and real life Dalton Trumbo do/did their writing while sitting in a bath tub. Was this a deliberate homage or did writers at that period of time just really love bathing?

I don't have an answer, but it was pretty weird. Plus Waldo sitting in the bath with the cop interviewing him was even weirder. I was waiting for Waldo to ask the cop to wash his back... He was a little creepy...
