渥美マリの「軟体動物シリーズ」の第3作。母の手ひとつで純粋に育てられた由美は、ある日母の愛人に犯され、逆上した母は由美の目の前でその男を殺害する。その後、由美は母の勤めていた場末のバーで働き始め、その小悪魔的魅力で男を惑わすようになる。そして、銀座の高級クラブのマネージャーと知り合い、その社長の愛人になるのだが…。

Yumi vit chez sa mère Tomi, hôtesse de bar. Elle n’a jamais connu son père, et partage le toit avec l’ami de sa mère. Celui-ci l’agresse sexuellement, et Tomi finit par le tuer, et devra donc en répondre en justice. Yumi va alors devoir se prendre en main.

This Japanese melodrama chronicles the exploits of a geisha's beautiful daughter. The daughter is the geisha's pride and she spares nothing to insure that she has a bright future. But the hard-working young woman's dreams of becoming a dressmaker are shattered.... She then becomes a nightclub hostess who plays cards with male patrons using her body as the prize.
