Diskuter Noc oživlých mrtvol

I liked this movie, but I thought that line was a little bit heavy handed. She might as well have said these monsters are personification of our evil.

But rewatching it now, this is what I'm really most impressed with: the re-imagining of the redneck militia scenes. In color it all seems somehow more savage and menacing -- the target practice, the bonfire scene, the overall carnival-like atmosphere. And we didn't need Barbara to say anything to point it out for us.

On the other hand, I never had a problem with it, they're doing what needs to be done, getting rid of the zombies and making it safe for people again, why shouldn't they enjoy themselves in the process? For once, it's the rednecks who save the country, not the government, not the president, not a bomb squadron gonna nuke the whole place, just the common folks that everybody's always putting down.
