Metropolis is still an extraordinary visual experience today. One can only imagine how jaw-dropping it must have appeared to audiences in 1927.

It's certainly a highly influential, visually stunning, truly impressive film. So glad for the nearly 100% complete reconstruction (restoration of nearly all previously missing footage) that was introduced to the world in 2010.
