It appears that he did since early in the film Padme mentions that Obi-wan stopped by because he was worried about Anakin because he has been under a lot of stress. Don't see why he would stop by Padme's looking for Anakin unless he knew. If he knew then he should have known how dangerous it was for Anakin to become attached knowing how strong in the force he was.
