It's even literally on the poster "Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back"
I was wondering why i kept getting inconsistencies in my kodi app with these movies
How does it make sense to pull the "Star Wars: Episode * " From episodes 4 - 6, Star Wars Episode 4 isn't even referred to as A New Hope in the title anymore

Movies actually do have a specific title that they use when submitting to national film registries and the like. For the Star Wars series, I believe it goes something like:
We're all free to refer to them the way we prefer, but if we're being super technical about it The Empire Strikes Back is the most "official" title for the movie.
Edit: I just checked and this site is indeed conforming to exactly the way I have it above. They're probably going by how they're listed with the MPAA or something.
