this one is just a nice comfy western for a winter day. I'm not sure why it gets so much praise as it's just your better than average oater. You just know Stewart will grow out of his loner ways by the end. Ruth Roman is particularly irritating on screen. Beautiful but she seems to just be posing and trying to maximize her beauty instead of acting. Stewart's little French girl isn't much better. Enjoyed all the stock western character actors filling the cast.
