For something Bergman called a bit of a misstep, this is pretty amazing. The two leads are great as always. I wish I understand more about the boy fishing? Was that his son, or future son with Liv? Was the boy posing provocatively and it made him snap? Did he actually kill him and that was a confession? It's horror in a creepy kind of folk horror way, isn't it?
