Reason why:
Did you know that Palpatine was actually a clone the entire time? Or that he used the Force to escape his plummeting body in Return of the Jedi moments before death? Or that Rey's dad was actually a failed Palpatine clone without any Force sensitivity? Well, now you do, and according to Disney, all those details are as much a part of the canon as anything that happened in the core movies.
So Rey's father was a clone of the Emperor? LOL Does this make any sense? Does anyone even care anymore? George Lucas must be thinking "who's writing this crap?"
I wouldn't be surprised if they do get round to making ep 10 they'll have a Darth Vader clone. Yes, he back! "Luke, I am you clone father."
LOL!

There are other rumours that after the death of Amidala, Anakin had a daughter with her clone or someone else. His daughter then was with the Palpatine clone, and Rey was born. So Rey is the granddaughter of Anakin Skywalker (maternal side) and daughter of a Palpatine clone (paternal side).

At this point, I'd even take Lucas's original concept for a sequel trilogy. That would have been about as bad as the prequels - and I'd still be bitching and moaning about how stupid they are - but it'd be leagues better than the Mouse House canon.

They will probably try it in a year or two -three hopefully by that time and after the current crises Disney will come to realise that they need the fans harder then the fans need Disney and hopefully they'll stop the woke nonsense.
