Hum, guess it wasnt that amazing after all. Probably should have spent more time writing better material instead of getting into fights with fans on twitter huh?

Only thing I can find online is a John Campea Video..it doesn't sound like its OFFICIALLY cancelled, but leaning toward it.
And that would sit just fine with me. I can't pick which SW movie is worse...Episode 1 or 8 (I haven't seen Solo yet)

Solo was mediocre but better than 1,2 and 8.
The ending set up things interestingly about who was and will be in control of the criminal underworld. No spoilers unless you want them.

Well last thing I heard Campea isn't going to watch any Star Wars film anymore even if they made one.

Yeah if we havent heard anything new by now Im pretty sure its dead. Not to mention Disney has said they want to take a break from SW films on the big screen. All the better I think. We need a few years to purge the memories on the new 'saga.'

They'll never admit it to the public but I think the real reason why Disney has axed all future SW films - or future trilogies - is because of the Avatar sequels. The studio should reap in billions from the intended four Avatar sequels. Disney acquired the Avatar franchise when it bought 20th Century Fox. In pure economic terms Disney doesn't need more Star Wars films. Not for the rest of the decade. I'm sure there will be more SW films (I can't imagine Disney never making another film!) but they be released after Avatar 5.
Avatar 2 is out winter 2021 and could rival The Force Awakens in box office. Avatar franchise has the potential to make more money than Star Wars.
A longer gap will allow Disney time to come up with some fresh ideas. Disney overstretched themselves committing to three films in five years. Bit crazy, perhaps. It's better to take time over the next film or films. Not rush them out like fast food.![grin](/assets/emojis/v8/1f601.svg)

I think they waited too long for Avatar it's been 11 years since the first one.But hey who knows people still might have a soft spot for 3 ft tall Smurfs.
