Disney retconned Luke's first encounter with Vader. In one of the recent Disney Marvel Star Wars comics Luke encounters Darth Vader before the events of Empire Strikes Back thereby contradicting what was depicted in that film!

In Disney's Star Wars Rebels (Season Three) - Obi Wan kills Darth Maul (and he has his legs and body intact before he dies!)

Basically, what I am saying is... Disney can do what the heck they like with Star Wars. If fans don't like it they have the right to complain but it's not going to change Disney's approach to the franchise. If they wanna kill off Han, Luke, Leia they can do so. "If you don't like it, go suck a Death Star lemon." - Disney CEO Bob Iger.

Disney is treating it's Star Wars fans like McDonald's treats customers. "We all know you've been here before and we sure as hell know you're coming back, so here's some[product]. See ya next time."

Ha - you could have added to that analogy by saying that their product is vaguely satisfying whilst actually consuming it but half an hour later you're left with a horrible taste in your mouth 😁

And I'll just insert here that until the box office for SW films drops off a cliff, I doubt Disney or Kennedy would even bother to print out the petition to use as toilet paper.

Again, the hatred this movie is getting is beyond what it really deserves.
