If you are a dog lover you will fall head over heels for Sam Neill. He is so adorable you cannot miss this film. I do not like films that force dogs to work all day so this film is perfect because it only shows dogs running happily and playing. Sam Neill embodies the personality, intelligence, the refinement and nobility of the canine. The respectability that is dog could not be better portrayed than by the great Sam Neill. Why he was never James Bond eludes me he has a much better face than Daniel Craig but he is hella old. Maybe that's why. But I remember watching old Bond movies and the actor that played him in the 80's was so handsome for an old guy:Roger Moore. I grew up with Dalton and awful Brosnan, Brosnan has ZEro personality I do not see the appeal. NO he is not hot . And Sean Connery is a wife beater I always thought he was gross. I like some of the old actors. Too bad Brando couldn't have been Bond he was so handsome. Jack Nicholson is my all time favorite!!!! Now HE would have made an excellent American Bond but the brits wouldn't have it. lol! My favourite bond is Moore he was elegant handsome and not a wife beater. Anyway back to this movie. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so wonderful and for anyone who lost a dog which to me is worse than losing a person, it will lift your spirits and you will feel so happy. Peter O'toole stars-what more do you want- this film has an elite cast of actors and is so adorable especially with the scruffy actor -You just have to watch it because I don't want to give anything away. It is funny, intelligent and wonderful. A truly Feel Good Movie which is hard to find these days. Enjoy!

I think you'll like; it it is witty. I love it because i am a dog lover who lost a beautiful canine so it has a special significance for me but it is really funny. Watch for the scruffy looking guy who gets the bottles of sherry(Hungarian stuff) watch his mannerisms and you will be surprised in the end. You have to pay very close attention to the whole movie so that you GET it at the end when the big reveal happens watch all of the characters until then and listen very carefully. I had to watch it two times to catch everything. And normally I catch everything; I knew it was the head in the box in Seven and I hadn't read Dante at that point. Due to the nature of the film you need to pay very close attention to each character. You probably won't get it all the first time around. That's why I say pay attention to the scruffy colonial:D It is very funny when you watch it the second time because all the little hints you weren't looking for appear and you laugh.

I think you might be disappointed that Malik's role is so brief, though essential to the plot.
