Discuter de The Raid 2

Warning: POTENTIAL SPOILERS!

So, early in the film when the son kills one of the henchmen he notices a tatoo. At the end he sees the same tatoo on the boss (sorry, not recalling names). It is obvious that he thinks this boss betrayed him, but wouldn't that mean that the boss basically gave him one of his own henchmen to kill? I didn't quite get the significance of this...maybe it was nothing. Thanks!

I figure it all amounted to Uco drawing the conclusion that he was merely a pawn and would never actually be a boss. His ego wanted him sitting on top, in a golden throne but in reality, it seemed like he was doing the bidding of the other two guys instead. The wire that was planted by Rama was the first trigger, leaving him to think that he was already being betrayed by those whom he thought he was doing a deal with. The second trigger was then the tattoo, realising that all he did was the boss' dirty work, another henchman essentially.

That's my theory anyway.

Thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking, but I just couldn't quite clearly connect the dots. It just seemed strange since they went to the effort to show the connection.

They needed to give him a reason to once again lose his mind and basically blow it all away. After all, as his father declared, he destroyed everything. This was simply finishing the job.

I'm more interested in the conversation Rama had with the Japanese gang that turned up after all that. I'm assuming from the "No, I'm done" bit that the Japanese understood he didn't have a beef with them.

Pity this movie didn't raise any profit though. It would've been nice to see a third Raid film, to hopefully tie off a few loose ends at least.

What it means is that those guys that were giving Uco trouble in the joint were always working for Beja. So it was not some favor Beja did for Uco. It was a setup from the start to play Uco.

I was way less entertained by Raid 2 than the first one. It took about 1.5 hours before it got good.
