Discuss The Golden Voyage of Sinbad

The Sinbad trilogy was a lot of fun. I have great memories of seeing these as a kid. They were a feast for the eyes filled with great FX, striking scenery and attractive women.

7th Voyage was the best of the three, but the Golden Voyage wasn't far behind.

man me to

loved the Ray Harryhausen special effects movies

Likewise I grew up with the Sinbad trilogy, Jason & the Argonauts + Clash of the Titans.

Eye of the Tiger was my favourite at the time - I think mainly because as that was on TV the most so I was most familiar with it. Loved the Sabertooth Tiger too!!

I have them all on Blu-Ray now and revisit them fairly often, for nostalgia, but also due to the incredible artistry on display from Harryhausen.

There is a certain/ other worldly quality stop motion animation exudes that is lost today. I can't put my finger on it but it there's definitely a strange beauty to it.
