In the first 1/3 of the film, there is a ridiculous number of cuts in the action scenes (didn't like it), but afterwards this wasn't a problem. So yeah, chaotic filming at the start, but much more enjoyable/conventional for the middle and end.
(P.S. There is at least one VERY scary scene in the first 1/3... despite the chaotic cinematography!)
