There are 3 posters with batalla, and 3 posters with conquista.
And there are several countries with Spanish language. Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, etc ...
Maybe the Conquista is from another country.
What country is the batalla title?

Hello ticao2,

Batalla means Battle, while Conquista means Conquest. I've found out that the latin america title in spanish is "La batalla por el planeta de los simios", while the european is considered "La conquista del planeta de los simios" only used when it was sold in video tape.

I've always seen this movie titled with the word battle, the alternative title leads to confussion with the '72 movie which was translated as "La rebelión del planeta de los simios".

Keep whichever title you think suits more the Spanish language, thanks for checking.

Now we are like this:
es-ES Espanha = La conquista del planeta de los simios

while the european is considered "La conquista del planeta de los simios" only used when it was sold in video tape.

We need to use the title used in the film release in each country.
What was the title used in the premiere in Spain?
When it was released in theaters in Spain was La batalla por el planeta de los simios ?

I can create in es-MX Mexico with the title La batalla por el planeta de los simios.

Yeah, do so for the LATAM version. The marketing campaign for the 5th movie was a mess in Spain, it was first named "La batalla por el planeta de los simios" (which even is spoken on the titles screen voice over) but later on was published as "La conquista del planeta de los simios" on the billboard and then the video tape.

So this makes the movie to have two official titles in es-ES Spain, and Spanish public may always confuse the 4th and the last of the original movies. I guess you can keep the wording, and then create the right translation for es-MX Mexico.

I can not make the overview text for es-MX. I do not speak Castilian, or Spanish.
So I'll leave the es-ES text in es-MX. And I hope someone from LATAM will correct the text.
