I got the impression that Jennifer's role in the movie was a late change. She's not mentioned at all during the first 20 minutes of exposition, when the con artists' history is given. Nor does she really affect the central plot, in spite of the other characters' fears that she might spill the beans. I suspect that she applied to the directors ( after all, her last film with them won her the Oscar) and they were glad to have an actress who would be a box-office draw. so they added the Rosalyn subplot. Anyone agree?
