It certainly went past me as well. Overall reception looks pretty bad but a relative of mine apparently liked it & we mostly enjoy the same stuff. I'll check it out myself soon. Plus I found out the girl from Orphan is in it and I've been wanting to see more of her work.
Man, John Cusack's movie choices over the past few years have really stunk. He used to be the king of quality independent cinema but he seems to have torn pages from the Val Kilmer playbook. Sam Jackson still gets good roles but seems to be able to take these B-movie paychecks without getting pigeonholed.
Coming soon, Cusack is in a movie with Nic Cage. Can an Adam Sandler movie be far behind?

It's not the worst movie ever made, but it's definitely generic and forgettable. It doesn't surprise me that it wasn't marketed all that much.
The only reason I found out is because I decided to check out TMDB worst movies! I can watch a terrible movie so I am not too worried but it is a shame that they can't seem to make a good Stephen King adaptation!
Me too. Last night while scrolling through ST On Demand , was the first time I had ever heard of it.
I was intrigued to know Sam Jackson and John Cusack had made another Stephen King movie together after 1408.
I started to watch and immediately fell asleep, which right now I'm going to attribute to my being tired and not it being boring-at least not until I have seen it entirely.
I thought it was pretty good and a cool take on the zombie thing with an uber creepy ending. I could see kids having real bad nightmares after watching this.

Lol. Actually, he already did a movie with Cage back in 2013 called The Frozen Ground. I thought it was a pretty good movie, though!

I think they also were in Con Air together - which is the only Nic Cage movie I ever really liked LOL
John Cusack makes me sad now. Oy, the crush I had on him ..... at least his sister is playing some great roles now.
