I have relatives in Wexford, as both my mum's parents were from there- and also, like Eilis, a few of my mum's second cousins are actually from Enniscorthy. Curracloe, the beach in this movie, is our beach in Ireland, and I'm glad a film showed it in all its glory, because that's actually the beach in Saving Private Ryan too- yeah, not so lovely there :P but it is a lovely beach :) <3

Last summer, I was also in their church, and I have to say, the singer there had a voice of an angel!
