I noticed there are a lot of people who worked on this movie who seem to be related, based on the identical last names. A lot of Srs. and Jrs. too. Weird!

There really isn't that many. A lot of 'occupations' connected with making a movie run in the family so it isn't really unusual to see. Here is the full cast & crew for the movie (excuse the link from the site that shall not be named):

One of my old postings I talk of Belushi unsuccessfully trying to get Ackroyd what became the Tim Matheson part of Otter in 'Animal House' (Matheson acted excellently in it). The SNL actors have had very strange loyalty to each other in getting one another parts in films (or at least attempting to).
