Тривожний виклик megbeszélése

It started well enough - it was believable at least - but after an hour or so my attention drifted away - I was willing them to just get on to the end of it. But the end - so ridiculous - it was embarrassing. I am so tired of empowered females doing it for themselves. The only thing good about it was that the serial killer got what he deserved - at least if you are as politically incorrect as I am. You could have lopped off an hour and not missed anything much.

It was a suspenseful, somewhat mediocre film, that held my attention to the end. After Jordan's mistake that got a teenage girl murdered, she had a new chance, this time, to save some one. There was also the satisfaction that - coincidence? - the suspect she caught and left to die, was the same perpetrator of the previous murder.

What I disliked was all those people getting themselves killed. Were they brave or stupid to try and stop this murderer (Michael) single-handedly? Of course they could've had a better chance at success if they attacked him immediately, instead of giving Michael the opportunity to make the first - aggressive - move and catch them off guard.

I like Halle enough, but I do kind of feel you as far as lopping off an hour to no consequence. I haven't seen her film Kidnap yet, but it seems that it and this film are rather similar in that each one has a lot of time with Halle sitting somewhere, worrying out loud about somebody. In Kidnap, she's chasing after her nabbed son in her minivan. In this, she's at the call center, trying to save this little blond girl from danger. I could be wrong, of course -- it's best to watch the film first, I know.

As for females doing it for themselves, I think the killer was a bit of a pushover in this movie, so it wasn't hard at all to see Halle's character holding her own against him. I loved her last line in the film, I think it was: "It's already done." The music that played with the ending credits kept me in a certain mood after her line, too, which was cool.

Cue up Eurythmics' and Aretha Franklin's "Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves"....
