Discuss La soga

Shows true evil, of men playing God, just because they decide someone is inferior to them. Although it was made in the '40s it still holds true today.. (nothing ever changes)

The murderers were particularly gruesome in the way they not only murdered a friend, but took pleasure in it, by throwing a party, with the dead body hidden in the room.....

Another one of Hitchcock's masterpieces..

Great movie!

I rewatched it again with friends who haddn't seen it... it still holds up... still entertaining... they loved it

i love the innuendo, the tension as they play games with one another... so good... a different experience from movies today that have cuts every 5 seconds or less...

It's one of my favorites by Hitch.

I dunno if I'd call it a masterpiece. More of an absorbing and bold experiment. It's engrossing enough; maybe a technical masterpiece.

I always enjoyed it. Given the one setting, you would think it would make a good stage play.

It was a stage play in the late 20's, I believe.

The final speech that Jimmy Stewart gives is brilliant too, gives me goosebumps.

Oh yeah, and the way he delivered it is just perfect.
