When I went to see Interstellar at the movie theater (Which was one of those fancy ones), an usher usually gets up and tells the audience a little bit about the film. The guy who came in to explain actually said "Interstellar is a great film but it's very densely plotted and if you leave the theater for even a couple of minutes you could get very confused, so if anyone has to use the bathroom, I suggest that you use it now."
I just watched Interstellar again yesterday and although I was disappointed that I fell asleep while I was watching it, the visual effects I saw while I was awake were incredible. Interstellar should have won all five of the Oscars it was nominated for, and I will NEVER understand why it wasn't nominated for Best Picture.

Great to see practical effects win out over CGI. As it usually should.
