Over 15 years ago maybe more i remember we watched this in school. The grandmom scared the crap out of me. Anyways as time went on became to love this movie for the memories and nostalgia

Yes the original has always been nostalgic for me too. I still re-read the first two books in the series every few years or so for the same reason.

I was introduced to a lot of movies in school. Movies that I probably would have never watched on my own. I don't think teachers today even do that anymore.

But yeah, the grandmother had some similarities to my mine. This movie had a creepy factor that the remake lacked. Well the remake lacked a lot.

I expected more.

Wow, I'm surprised they would show this movie in school, for the off-screen incest alone. What class was this, and what were they trying to teach?

Hahahaha! I myself, have just watched the remake. DO THEY SHOW THIS MOVIE IN SCHOOLS?? REALLY? Jeez, school is really fucked up. In sixth grade we watched Child's Play (cursed murder doll).... christ!
