Director's Cut or Uncut Version?

Director Wayne Kramer once said that the reason the movie appeared the way it did was because Harvey Wienstien got in the way. Do you think that now Harvey is gone, Wayne Kramer can be free to release a Director's cut with all the deleted scenes in it? There was supposed to be a far longer cut with a completely deleted story featuring Sean Penn and a further story with Alice Eve making up with her boyfriend.
