If he had been able to finish the 5 contracts do you think he would've killed Max or let him go? I think Vincent did have a sort of respect for Max as a person, even though he didn't follow through with his plans (Island Limos company) and he was definitely affected in some way by Max emotionally, but as a cold, cynical hitman he would never openly admit it. so maybe he may have let him go knowing that even if Max did go to the police he would've been long gone and out of L.A in a flash. Thoughts?

he would kill him definitely, he was just cold blooded murderer whose identity was unknown for years, he ain't gonna keep living someone who can identify him, also remember his rant in rear seat about Max always just dreaming about taxi company or the girl, but never actually do anything about it

Yeah, he definitely would have killed Max. There's no way he would have left a living witness. He might have to come back to LA at some point, no point in having an "artistic impression" of his face on file.

He would have double tapped him (I always wanted to use that phrase)... I think even one the officers mentioned that in another city a taxi driver had gone on a shooting spree and then killed himself... that was probably Vincent too...
He's a killer
