biggest problem I see with this movie and I only see this movie now as the director's cut, is that the character Orlando Bloom plays is basically the filter for exposition. They add bits to him here and there, but ultimately he goes through scenes while other people fill in bits of information for the audience to understand to progress the movie. It usually happens, but the movie moves through every scene with the same idea that he never really progresses and becomes a fleshed out character. The problem lies with Bloom himself, he doesn't have the charisma to carry the film, but the writing also hinders him from trying. Great movie overall, but I think it could've been better if it was more focused.
