Robert Kearns had a flash of inspiration and invented the intermittant wind shield wiper. He tries to sell his invention to the big three with no luck. Soon they steal his idea and he spends almost the rest of his life trying to right that wrong. His marriage eventually breaks under the strain. He wins but is a broken man at the end.
